Taiwan War Parameters

This post aims to be tie together a comprehensive bibliography, collection of quotes, general history, and highly precise analysis about the deciding factors of a war with Taiwan.

I will assemble it in stages. First, I aim to collect, read, and annotate a comprehensive history of Taiwan, its culture, and its intersections with the histories and cultures of China, the US, and other relevant actors. Second, I aim to collect, read, and annotate a comprehensive set of documents on semi-conductor manufacturing in Taiwan, as they relate to what constraints that imposes. How are the actors in this game actually constrained? Third, I aim to conduct interviews on the subject, with people who are experts in relevant history and semi-conductor manufacturing. Fourth, I aim to tie this together into a summary which will be the first three sections of the post, with the rest being a mega-"annotated bibliography".
